Question by : Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong with the vacuum cleaner?
I’ve been through so many since I’ve moved out on my own and done all the cleaning. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Every single one starts clogging up with balls of dirt, hair, and carpet fiber. I have to take the hose and stuff apart and remove all of the junk. I always make sure my filter chamber or w/e it’s called is emptied. Why does this keep happening? It’s not exactly an advanced piece of equipment that requires a ton of skill. Anyone else have this problem?

I know its a tough question but after i press the “clean” button it cleans normally for about 1 or 2 minutes and than it stops and beeps at me with an orange light on. Its on a relatively clean floor but it does this EVERY TIME! it used to work normally and stop only when it was full or ran out of batt. i couldnt find any support online so its on to yahoo. thx.

Answer by red_cheeto How long have you had it? after awhile, the batteries start to go bad. Also, do you clean it often? The harder the engine has to work the more battery it will lose, so cleaning the brushes will make it easier for them to turn, and will use less battery.

I have a Dirt Devil Vacuum and I took it all apart pulled all the junk out of the hose cleaned everything out put it all back together. The belt isn’t broken, the hose is no longer clogged the motor is running but its not working I dont know what else to do.

Answer by jdq240 I’ve had one of those.. Make sure the cover for the bag is placed back on perfectly. It has to snap in leaving no cracks, etc. it’s got to be perfect, or else you can go over anything and it will not suck it up…

It sort of works….but not well. Because of that I think it’d be rude to give it to Goodwill and have someone buy it assuming it works when it doesn’t totally work (suction only comes out of the hose attachment, not the actual vacuum).

My favorite will always be the broom vac. It really is a minature upright. And then comes the Lite because I like soft bags much more than the hard case ones. Only things I want are a Lite Plus and a bumper for the Lite. Video Rating: 5 / 5
