Question by L. T.: Next to scrubbing on your hands and knees, what is the best way to clean vinyl or tile floors?
Assuming cost is not a concern, what mop or steamer is a sturdy product that cleans floors the best and is user-friendly?
Best answer:
Answer by CA$HMON!3 My grandpa goes to the local pool store and gets pure chlorine. He mixes it with water, sprays it all over, leaves for an hour then comes back. all he has to do then is just scrub with a mop and he’s done. If you chose to do this, don’t forget the gloves and the spray mask.

Question by BERT: Who has a big house with a lot of tile?
How do you clean it? Anyone use Hoover Floor Mate, Bissell Flip It, or Lysol Steam Cleaning Mop? It seems there’s got to be an easier way than sweeping and mopping but I don’t want to waste my money on something that doesn’t work and just ends up taking up space.

Question by : does the shark steam mop clean tile grout?
specifically dark colored grout that would need a toothbrush to get clean!!
Best answer:
Answer by Heidi 4 No! I love my Shark steam clearn but It simply cleans the surface tile. When my grout really needs cleaning I use a squeeze bottle filled with peroxide and let it set for about 15 minutes. It does a pretty good job on my white grout.

Once your floor tiles are laid, the next step is to apply tile grout. But before you actually spread the floor tile grout, you need to first clean grout lines clear of unwanted mortar. This is easily done by using the appropriate tools, and here’s a look at some of those tools which you may find useful for your grout line cleaning process. Distributed by Tubemogul.
Question by sumwum1: Is it safe to throw some bleach on a hard tile floor to get the in-between parts clean & white again?
Or do I have to use some kind of tile grout cleaner and get on my hands and knees? Or could I just dilute some bleach and throw it on the floor and let it sit a few minutes before mopping it up? What is the easiest way to do this?

Answer by soneya Sounds good to me. It is tile. Unless you have special tiles.
Question by Kitty C: What tile floor cleaner to get?
My tile floor in my dads kitchen is OLD! I mean old to a point the white tiles aren’t white but a gray from dirt and wax build up. The floor needs to be replaced. It is over 20 years old.
Anyway, i need a floor cleaner that will help clean the floor. Something that will at least clean the floor even help remove some wax enough that hey there might be a white tile underneath. Good luck to me but is there anything like that is hard core floor cleaner. Something where i could actually get rid of the dirt and what not enough to see a white floor after so what not. My dad still uses the mop and bucket method. -.- so even when he does that he spreads the dirt and what not. No wonder it is never clean….
Anyway is there a hard core floor cleaner out there?
I don’t have a buffer or anything like that and i don’t have the money to buy that. Just incase anyone says that.
But any ideas?
If someone plans to answer, DON’T go to a web page and copy shit down that won’t help and actually read what the asker has put down. The floor is over 20 years old. I don’t believe someone telling me to “think mommy” and do this… is useful in anyway. It shows me you just looked up floor cleaning and tells me that either you have a new house or new floors.
Please use your head. Thanks.

Answer by Larry E You need a wax stripper to start with and then a good cleaner. Go to a store that sells tile and flooring.
