Bleach is not good for wooden floors,you could use diluted disinfectant and a mop,and then when thats dry use a wood floor cleaner.

This video is of an installation and job site sand, stain and finish of a 5/8″ unfinished engineered hardwood floor. This floor is a select Red Oak with Merlot stain. The floor was installed in an old car port that has been remodeled into a family room. We are using a buffer to apply the stain in this case.

I have a Polti steam cleaner, not cheap, but well worth the money. my partner is asthmatic, and I have to steam the bed to kill house mites, and all sorts of things.I like using a steam cleaner because you do not have to use harmful chemicals which also aggrevate my partners asthma.Before I owned a polti, I had a smaller machine called a Shark, which can be bought from the t.v. shopping channel, or through your p.c.Highly reccommended. I have a hardwood floor with polyurethane protectant. I have the darndest time trying to get it clean when the kids drop juice or soda on it. I have used hardwood floor cleaner on it and that hasn’t worked. Please help?

I found that spray soap such as greased lightning,mean Green,formula 409,simple green works great when you have kids.It wont hurt the finish on your floor
