moving into a rental property with hard wood floors, always had carpet. What is the best cleaner and/or product that cleans wood floors. I heard swiffer wetjet is good but dont know if there is a mop or something better

Bleach is not good for wooden floors,you could use diluted disinfectant and a mop,and then when thats dry use a wood floor cleaner.

I have a hardwood floor with polyurethane protectant. I have the darndest time trying to get it clean when the kids drop juice or soda on it. I have used hardwood floor cleaner on it and that hasn’t worked. Please help?

I found that spray soap such as greased lightning,mean Green,formula 409,simple green works great when you have kids.It wont hurt the finish on your floor

Question by dramamama: How clean is your house?
And what do you consider “clean” and “deep cleaned”?
I’m asking because I’ve been called a neat freak more than once. I don’ mind being called that, but I really don’t feel that I am one.
I have 3 kids, so I have the usualy toys out, books scattered, etc…but I do keep my house tidy.
What I consider “clean”, is floors picked up, vacuumed, swept..dishes done, toys put away, laundry put away. You know, just everyday things…
“deep clean”, to me, is ceilng fans wiped down, baseboards done, everuthing dusted and windexed, fridge cleaned out, closets organized, bathroom scrubbed top to bottom….
Do I sound like a “neat freak”?

I would not say a neat freak. I’m about the same. I clean up every day. I “deep clean” every week. Especially the bathroom, maybe not the closets. I’d say I’m hygienic.
