First, Neato make a short circuit around environment where he is to get a real map. Next he go to the nearest wall and follow along them. Then he starts to clean entire floor in line by line passes. When he detects doorways (not in this movie) he bypasses them to clean one room entirely before go to the next. When the battery is low, he returns to the docking station, charge his batteries and after it he returns to the place where he left off (in one cycle he could make up to 3 ‘resuming’ cycles). Even if it is in another part of the house. When the mission is complete he returns to his dock to recharge itself. Only one thing which we need to do is emptying his bin.
